Third Suspect Arrested in Connection with Midvale Murder, Investigation Reveals THC Vape-Related Plot

In a series of arrests linked to the murder of 23-year-old Mason Snowball, a third suspect is now in custody, with authorities unraveling a plot entwined in the streets of Midvale. Following a car crash that turned out to be a crime scene on September 18th near Jackson Street and La Salle Drive, investigators unearthed evidence that Snowball had sustained a gunshot wound, which led to his death. This information comes following an ongoing investigation into the incident, as reported by FOX 13, with the deceased being identified as Nathan Snowball by authorities and as Mason by his family in a fundraising effort to cover the unexpected funeral costs.

Unified Police Department of Greater Salt Lake’s response to the incident initially captured a 14-year-old in their net for the murder. Unable to be identified due to age restrictions, this juvenile was among what appears to be a coordinated group of suspects. Describing the aftermath of the incident, a witness told officers he heard a pop, then saw Snowball’s vehicle speeding through a parking lot sans headlights before the crash, as FOX 13 elaborates.

The overall investigation led to further arrests, including 21-year-old Christiano Antonio Madison, who now faces charges of murder and aggravated robbery. Surveillance footage from the area, which detectives analyzed scrupulously, showed two suspects fleeing the scene after the sounds of a gunshot.
