SALT LAKE CITY — The FBI’s Salt Lake City Field Office released a report Wednesday detailing arrests made and drugs seized over the past three months, during what it called the “Summer Heat” operation.
FBI Salt Lake City, which conducts operations in Utah and Idaho, “made numerous arrests and removed large quantities of drugs and weapons from our communities,” the field office said.
The release said Salt Lake City task forces made a total of 74 arrests between June 24 and Sept. 20 as part of Operation Summer Heat. They also took “approximately 47,703 grams of fentanyl, more than 12,700 grams of methamphetamine, 442 grams of cocaine, 6,366 grams of heroin, sixteen weapons, and more than $91,000,” off the streets…
