Salt Lake City Hosts SPAYghetti & No Balls Gala to Support Local No-Kill Shelter’s Spay/Neuter Programs

Party-goers in Salt Lake City are gearing up for a night that promises to be more than just your typical gala affair. The Salt Lake County Animal Services is hosting its signature fundraising event, SPAYghetti & No Balls, on Friday, October 10, at the Sheraton Salt Lake City Hotel. Proceeds from the Vegas-style casino-themed evening will go directly to support spay and neuter programs that are critical for maintaining the no-kill status of the largest municipal shelter in Utah. The fun starts promptly at 6 PM, with tickets pegged at $125 for those 21 and over, according to Salt Lake County.

The evening’s itinerary includes a Social Hour where guests can freely enjoy cocktails and mocktails, followed by a spaghetti dinner. Entertainment will be provided by The Best DJ in Utah, alongside casino-style gaming tables from Common Cents Casino Parties. For those looking to bid on prizes, a Silent Auction with mobile bidding is available now, and there will also be opportunity drawings. A unique feature for animal lovers, a Pet Psychic will be present to give readings for those bringing a photo of their pet, as detailed by Salt Lake County.

In a statement, Associate Director of Salt Lake County Animal Services Jami Johanson emphasized the importance of the gala, saying, “This gala isn’t just a celebration—it’s a chance for our community to come together and directly impact the lives of pets and families in need,” as per Salt Lake County.
