BIG COTTONWOOD CANYON, Utah, Oct. 12, 2025 (Gephardt Daily) — Rescue crews are searching for four overdue hikers believed to be in the Broads Fork Trail area of Big Cottonwood Canyon.
Chris Bronson, spokesman for the Salt Lake County Sheriff‘s Office, told Gephardt Daily that the search is ongoing as of mid afternoon Sunday.
“We are involved in an active search and rescue operation,” Bronson said. “It’s overdue hikers. We’ll provide more information on that once they are available.”
