SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — Concert-goers are calling for refunds after part of the REDWEST Country Music Festival was canceled due to severe weather.
Derrick Yerkes has been working to form a class action lawsuit against REDWEST for damages resulting from the cancellation of Saturday’s shows. He said he already has more than 500 people who want to be a part of it.
“It was a disaster if I’m being fully honest with you,” Yerkes said. “We were very excited to see these artists, … I mean, my brother’s girlfriend flew all the way from Hawaii and spent over $1,000 to come. … We were told it was a ‘rain or shine’ event.”
