Three rescued from Mt. Superior’s south ridge, all in stable condition

SALT LAKE CITY — As temperatures began to fall into the 30-degree range overnight, the Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Office rescued three adults from the South Ridge of Mt. Superior, according to a press release.

The Utah Department of Public Safety’s search and rescue helicopter, Star 8, was also dispatched to aid in the rescue.

The rescue included units from the Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Office, Alta Marshalls, and the Unified Fire Authority…
