Salt Lake City Council Member Victoria Petro widened her lead over her challenger, consultant Stephen Otterstrom, up by 114 votes in the two-way race to represent the west side, according to unofficial results posted yesterday evening.
The big picture: While incumbents Chris Wharton and Sarah Young, who ran unopposed, sailed to reelection Tuesday, Petro’s path to victory remains unclear.
