DAVIS COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — An Ogden man has been formally charged with animal torture after being accused of throwing six puppies out of a car window while driving on US-89, leading to the death of two of the animals. He also allegedly abandoned the puppies’ mother in Bountiful.
Memphis Lor, 25, was charged with seven counts of torturing a companion animal, a third-degree felony, and one count of obstruction of justice, a class A misdemeanor.

On Oct. 22, Lor allegedly threw six three-week-old puppies out of his car window while traveling at highway speeds on US-89. Two of the puppies were killed, one was seriously injured, and one was lost following the incident. However, the lost puppy was later found and turned into Animal Care of Davis County on Oct. 30.
The mother of the puppies was also left on the side of the road near the Bountiful Pond, and she was found severely malnourished…
