SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced that they have started hosting public tours of the new Alabang Philippines Temple.
According to the Church, public tours were held at the Alabang Philippines temple for the first time today and over 60 individuals were in attendance, including prominent Church leaders, local media representatives, and Philippine leaders.
Following the tour, Elder James R. Rasband, the Church’s Assistant Executive Director of the Temple Department, said, “I hope that you will see that the temple teaches that Jesus Christ is at the center of all of our doctrine.”

In addition to the tour held today, the Church is hosting an open house at the Alabang Philippines temple from Friday, Nov 21 through Saturday, Dec 13, excluding Sundays. Those tours will be open to the public, regardless of church membership status.
