Suntrapp workers formally unionize with owner’s voluntary recognition

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — According to a statement released by Suntrapp Workers United, the employees of Suntrapp have formally unionized as part of the CWA 7765 Labor Union and have been voluntarily recognized by their employer.

The Suntrapp is a popular bar for the LGBTQ+ community in Salt Lake City. On October 3rd, the employees announced that they were going on strike to protest the owner’s “unfair labor practice violations”.
