SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Employees at several Starbucks stores located in Utah have joined an ongoing nationwide strike.
According to Starbucks Workers United, thousands of Starbucks employees across the United States have been striking since Nov. 13. The strike, nicknamed the Red Cup Rebellion, is protesting Starbucks’ “failure to finalize a fair union contract.”
Employees at stores in Bountiful, South Salt Lake, and Woods Cross joined the strike this week. They are striking alongside over 2,500 baristas and 120 stores across the country. Additionally, 125,000 people have pledged to not buy anything from Starbucks during the strike…
