MAGNA, Utah (ABC4) — A house fire in Magna was quickly extinguished in the early hours of Friday morning thanks to a quick response from Unified Fire Authority and neighboring fire departments.
According to a social media post, Unified Fire Authority responded to a house fire in Magna around 1:02 a.m. on the morning of Dec. 5. Additional crews from West Valley City Fire Department and West Jordan Fire Department also responded to the scene.
When crews arrived, they found fire and smoke showing from the first floor of the home. Firefighters began an interior offensive attack, meaning that they went inside the house and fought the fire directly at its origin.
