SALT LAKE COUNTY (ABC4) — The Salt Lake County Health Department (SLCoHD) has confirmed a case of measles in a childcare facility, and the DHHS has confirmed ten new measles cases throughout the state.
On Monday, SLCoHD announced that there was a new case of measles in the Bingham Kooper Kids childcare facility, which is located within Bingham High School in South Jordan. Reportedly, this case occurred in an unvaccinated individual who was infectious while attending the childcare facility from December 1-5.
SLCoHD says that they have notified everyone unvaccinated who they knew had direct contact with the infected individual. However, they are unsure where the individual was initially infected…
