Utah Valley University and Salt Lake Community College sign agreement allowing full credit transfers

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Utah Valley University (UVU) and Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) have reached an agreement that provides more opportunities for SLCC students looking to transfer to UVU.

Today, UVU and SLCC announced that they have signed a transfer agreement with SLCC students and graduates to transfer to UVU easier. The signed memorandum of understanding (MOU) ensures anyone who has completed an associate degree or higher at SLCC is automatically admitted to UVU.

Additionally, SLCC students who are transferring to UVU will now qualify for transfer scholarships and awards that match the scholarships they held at SLCC. In addition, students who received a full-ride scholarship to SLCC will now be eligible for UVU’s Outstanding Scholarship, which covers up to two years of tuition.
