Kearns High Stages The Addams Family

KEARNS High School presents their first play of the year, The Addams Family Oct. 28-31, 2025. A new cast and a brand new teacher/director, had rehearsals on a tight schedule finishing a month earlier than planned.

AUDIENCE members praised the production’s perfect balance of music to monologues. While the musical was lengthy, the show was well worth the wait. It had an intriguing plot that kept the audience engaged from the start to final bow. Featuring modern but accurate to the original costumes, and a nice fresh musical version of this story, it was a satisfying and musical take on a classic story. The Addams Family has been done before, but the adaptation to the story is unique in musical form, while still true to the original.

LARIAH Saunders (11), cast as Wednesday Addams, said, “Yeah it was really well put together, so I think everyone should have had a chance to see it. We heard a lot of good things about it, we even got emails from people.” The production has received overwhelmingly positive reviews and a bit less than dozens of emails, and in person positive statements can’t lie.
