Victims of stalking urged to report incidents at Utah universities

SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — For many college students, stalking isn’t just frightening—it can be confusing, overwhelming, and difficult to escape, as one Utah woman’s years-long ordeal shows.

KUTV began asking questions after learning about an ongoing stalking case involving a Utah woman who was terrorized for years, beginning when she was a college student in Layton.

The suspect in that case was arrested this week after reportedly going to the victim’s home, bringing renewed attention to how stalking cases are handled and what resources are available.
