Shelter-in-place lifted in Salt Lake neighborhood as suspect remains at large

SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — Residents in a Salt Lake City neighborhood were briefly ordered to shelter in place after a suspect escaped from Utah Highway Patrol troopers on foot.

UHP officials said the suspect fled near 1300 East Parkway Avenue and 2445 South on Friday afternoon. A tracking K-9 was called in to help search the area for the suspect.
