‘Justice was served, but now they’re trying to overturn that’: Murder victim’s sister opposes effort to vacate killer’s conviction

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — The sister of a man who was murdered in 2001 spoke against a new filing that could throw out his killer’s conviction.

The Salt Lake County District Attorney’s (DA) Office announced Monday that it has filed a petition to vacate the 2001 conviction of Adrian Whitfield Gordon for the murder of Lee Lundskog.

His sister, Beverly Willardson, is hopeful that this won’t happen. She believes that Gordon’s conviction brought justice for Lundskog’s brutal murder. Willardson spoke with ABC4 about her brother and what she and her family went through to get that justice…
