‘Grinch’ swipes handmade gingerbread man from Utah family’s holiday display

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — A beloved holiday tradition became a mystery this Christmas when a family’s handmade decoration unexpectedly went missing. Now, Alex Courtney and Natasha Willmore of Salt Lake City are looking for answers— and hoping for a bit of Christmas magic to bring it back home.

Courtney and Willmore said that each Christmas, their family gets together to make homemade holiday decorations. It is a beloved tradition for them.

This year, however, the family’s tradition took an unexpected turn when their homemade gingerbread man decoration was stolen by what they are calling a “real life Christmas Grinch.”…
