South Jordan man facing reckless driving charges in crash that hospitalized baby

A 35-year-old driver has been arrested following a crash that sent three people, including a five-week-old baby, to the hospital in South Jordan. Chase Reed Martin was arrested on Saturday for charges of reckless endangerment, reckless driving, and having an open container in a vehicle, among others.

According to court documents, South Jordan officers were called to the intersection of 2700 West and 11400 South for reports of a large vehicle collision that involved a SUV rolling over and striking a power pole.
