New measles cases bring statewide total to 156

SALT LAKE COUNTY (ABC4) — The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has confirmed that there have been 14 new measles cases throughout Utah, bringing the statewide total to 156 cases.

As of Tuesday, DHHS has confirmed that Utah is now at 156 measles cases, with 40 of those cases being diagnosed in the last three weeks. According to DHHS, Southwest Utah has the most cases, at 114, followed by Utah County, at 16.

Wasatch County has nine cases, Salt Lake County has five cases, and Davis County has two cases. Additionally, the Bear River Health District has four cases and both Southeast and Central Utah have three cases each…
