WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah, Dec. 31, 2025 (Gephardt Daily) — Utah Highway Patrol has identified the person who died after a reckless driving crash with six other vehicles on Dec. 28 on Bangerter Highway.
The driver was Abbie Louise Roderick, of Enoch. She was driving a Hyundai Tucson at 8:06 p.m. when her vehicle “was reported driving recklessly, swerving between lanes at a high rate of speed,” a Utah Highway Patrol statement says.
“For an unknown reason, the Hyundai collided with six other vehicles that were stopped at a traffic light at 4100 South and Bangerter Highway. Following the impact, the Hyundai caught fire. A driver from one of the other vehicles managed to pull the driver and sole occupant out of the Hyundai.”…
