SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — A Trax train collided with a vehicle on Main Street earlier this afternoon, causing systemwide delays.
According to Gavin Gustafson with UTA, the incident occurred at 200 S. Main Street around 4:15 p.m. He described it as a minor incident, but the driver of the vehicle was taken to the hospital as a precaution. The vehicle was towed as a result.
One passenger on the train reported some bumps and bruises, but no one else was injured. The train was also not damaged and is back in service.
