Mild conditions linger before rain, mountain snow return

SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — A short-lived stretch of quieter weather settles in through Saturday afternoon as high pressure builds overhead. Despite a few lingering clouds, conditions stay mild, with temperatures running well above normal for early January.
