Three more books have been banned in Utah schools, bringing the total to 22

SALT LAKE CITY — Davis, Tooele and Washington County have removed at least three more books from their school bookshelves, triggering a statewide ban for the books in K-12 schools.

“The Perks of Being a Wallflower” by Stephen Chbosky and “Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West” by Gregory Maguire were both removed from K-12 schools in Utah. Both books have been adapted into popular films.
