Lone survivor of 2024 West Valley City family shooting dies unexpectedly at 19

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (ABC4) — The lone survivor of a family shooting in West Valley City in 2024, which claimed the lives of five others, died unexpectedly on Sunday at the age of 19.

Sha Reh, the only surviving family member of a shooting spree at his West Valley home in 2024 that took the lives of his parents and three siblings, died unexpectedly in his aunt and uncle’s home on Sunday, according to a GoFundMe.

Police came to believe that Reh’s father, Dae Reh, shot his wife and four children before committing suicide. Sha, who was 17 at the time, was found alive on the scene with a gunshot wound to the head. He was then taken to the hospital in critical condition…
