The man arrested during a search warrant issued in Duchesne County last month has been charged with murder. The South Valley SWAT team traveled over 100 miles to the Duchesne County property on December 28th searching for the second suspect in a fatal South Jordan shooting that took place on December 27th. The suspect, 25-year-old Zachary Prescott, was located and brought into custody. The other suspect, 38-year-old Kevin Scarbourough, had already been arrested. Both have been charged with 1st Degree Felony Murder and 3rd Degree Felony Discharge of a Firearm for the shooting death of 34-year-old Alexander Powell while the men were all attending a Christmas party.
