SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — A woman was arrested after several people reportedly saw her try to light a vehicle’s gas tank on fire.
Elena Garbe, 34, was arrested on suspicion of the following:
- Unlawful absence after pretrial release for felony, a third-degree felony (x3)
- Arson, a third-degree felony
- Failure to stop at command of law enforcement, a class A misdemeanor
- Obstruction of justice, a class A misdemeanor
- Failure to disclose identity, a class B misdemeanor
- Unlawful absence after pretrial release for misdemeanor, a class B misdemeanor (x3)
- Unlawful absence after pretrial release for infraction, an infraction
Several independent witnesses saw Garbe attempt to light the vehicle’s gas tank on fire on Friday, the affidavit states.
