KEARNS, Utah, Feb. 1, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — Fire crews from West Valley City Fire Department and the Unified Fire Authority responded to a house fire in Kearns on Thursday afternoon that left two occupants seriously injured.
According to West Valley City Fire, the call was received around 3 p.m., and first units arrived within approximately five minutes. Crews encountered heavy smoke and fire coming from the residence and began fire suppression efforts.
Two victims were located inside the home. One was transported by West Valley City Fire crews in critical condition, while the second patient was reported in stable condition and transported by Unified Fire Authority personnel…
