SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Kenny Loggins is the newest member of the People’s Music Hall of Fame, right here in Utah.
Established with The Sound Support Foundation, People’s Music Hall of Fame honors artists whose contributions continue to make an impact throughout new generations. Kenny Loggins, known for his work on the classic film “Footloose,” became the second person to be inducted into the Hall of Fame at the 2026 People’s Music Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Saturday.
“[It] fills a void that we didn’t even know was there until we started to look at it. There’s the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but it’s a different situation,” Loggins said. “It’s sort of a smaller club. I think Adam has opened it up to being more universal, more the people, and see what music mattered to us as we were all growing up.”
