Riverton Gets Its Bowl On as Flower Child Lands in Mountain View Village

Riverton just landed a new spot for bright grain bowls and feel-good meals. Flower Child, the fast-casual chain known for made-from-scratch bowls and sauces, has opened in Mountain View Village, positioning itself as a neighborhood option for lunch, dinner, post-workout meals, and family dining, with plenty of takeout and patio seating. The arrival marks Flower Child’s second Utah location, joining its Foothill Drive restaurant in Salt Lake City.

According to Flower Child, the Riverton restaurant is listed as “Now Open” at 4422 West Tree Sparrow Drive inside Mountain View Village and operates daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The opening date is listed as Jan. 13 in local coverage, as reported by Utah Stories.

What to expect on the menu

The Riverton menu leans on made-from-scratch cooking, with roasted vegetables, grains, proteins, and house-made sauces prepared daily, and it features build-your-own bowls, wraps, and salads that accommodate plant-based, gluten-free, and protein-forward preferences, according to Utah Business. FOX13’s The Place also notes the restaurant is designed for lunch, dinner, post-workout meals, family-friendly dining, and takeout.

Ordering and rewards

Guests can order ahead, earn points through the chain’s Happy Rewards program and pick up via curbside or delivery using the Flower Child app, per Flower Child. The Riverton location also offers catering for groups and an open-kitchen set-up for diners who want to watch meals being prepared to order.

Where it sits in Mountain View Village

The restaurant occupies new-construction retail within Mountain View Village, a large mixed-use development that draws shoppers from across southern Salt Lake County and includes national co-tenants and a movie theater. A commercial listing for the property notes the site benefits from heavy traffic counts and proximity to anchors such as Harmons and Cinemark, a likely factor in the brand’s location choice, as per CommercialCafe.

In a press release quoted by Utah Business, Flower Child founder Sam Fox said, “We’ve seen firsthand how much Utah values an active, outdoor lifestyle, and Riverton was a natural next step.” The company says the Riverton dining room, patio, and bright design are meant to reflect that active, feel-good spirit…
