Rocky Mountain Power employees shelter in place after police pursue suspect into office

SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — Employees at the Rocky Mountain Power North Temple office sheltered in place.

Jona Whitesides, a spokesperson for RMP, said an individual entered the office while being pursued by police shortly after 3 p.m. on Thursday.

According to Salt Lake City Police Lt. Cody Lougy, the bike unit was working the area of the Jordan River Park near the Rocky Mountain Power building when they encountered a group of homeless people blocking the trail…
