MILAN — Utah native and Team USA speed skater Casey Dawson withdrew from the speed skating men’s 10,000-meter event at the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics Friday.
With his decision, the U.S. had no racer in the event. Czechia’s Metodej Jilek won gold, with Poland’s Vladimir Semirunniy and the Netherlands’ Jorrit Bergsma claiming silver and bronze.
