Ski resort closures, multiple crashes, flight delays reported amid severe weather conditions across Utah

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Multiple crashes, ski resort closures, and flight delays have been reported amid severe weather across the state.

Due to the heavy snowfall rates, Alta Ski Resort closed early for the day, after receiving 41 inches of snow so far during this storm. The resort will reopen on Thursday. Additionally, Brighton Resort announced that it will also close early, at 5 p.m. Snowbird has also closed early, after receiving 16 inches of snow since opening at 9 a.m. and 31 inches in the last 24 hours.
