SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — The Utah Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) announced on Tuesday that there have been 300 cases of measles in the state during this current outbreak.
This outbreak has lasted from June 2025 to the present and, in that time, 300 cases of measles have been confirmed in the state. 104 of these cases were diagnosed in 2026, and 58 of the cases diagnosed this year were diagnosed just in the last three weeks.
The majority of Utah’s cases (194) have occurred in the Southwest Utah Health District. Utah County currently has 41 cases, Salt Lake County has 32 cases, Wasatch County has nine cases, and Central Utah has six cases…
