Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Conference Center to close for nearly a year

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced that they will be closing their Conference Center until March 2027, except for major events.

The Conference Center hosts a variety of performances and tours throughout the year, with a 21,000-seat auditorium, a rooftop garden, and several historical and art exhibits. It is also used for the semi-annual General Conference hosted by the Church.

However, starting March 30, 2026, and going through March 1, 2027, the Conference Center will be closed to the public with a few exceptions.

The Church announced on Wednesday that access to the Conference Center will be limited to the April and October 2026 general conference and major scheduled events, such as Luz de las Naciones and the Tabernacle Choir Christmas concerts…
