SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — A recent study has named Salt Lake City among the best state capitals to live in across the U.S.
According to WalletHub, Salt Lake City is the 10th-best capital to live in based on several diverse factors. The top ten ranking is as follows:

- Raleigh, NC
- Atlanta, GA
- Madison, WI
- Boise, ID
- St. Paul, MN
- Lincoln, NE
- Bismarck, ND
- Denver, CO
- Salt Lake City, UT
Why is SLC in 10th place?
This ranking was based on several key dimensions: affordability, economic well-being, quality of education and health, and overall quality of life. While Salt Lake City didn’t top the list, its high ranking shows that it beats out most of the country in these metrics.
