WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (ABC4) — A West Valley City home was destroyed in a fire Monday afternoon, according to West Valley City Fire.
Shortly before 12:15 p.m., a call came in from neighbors at the 4000 West block of 4400 South in West Valley City regarding a house fire. Firefighters responded to the scene and upgraded the incident to a two-alarm fire.

Upon arrival, firefighters found heavy smoke and large winds. While firefighters were able to get the blaze under control “fairly quickly,” West Valley City Fire Battalion Chief Brandon Howard said, it reportedly spread to neighboring carport, causing damage to the carport and two vehicles…
