West Jordan man accused of calling protected victim nearly 300 times from jail

SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — A West Jordan man is facing several new charges after he allegedly called a protected victim more than 290 times while he was held at the Salt Lake County Jail.

Terence Lynn Lawler, 39, was originally taken into custody in November 2025 following a reported domestic violence incident.

Investigators said Lawler made 363 phone calls during a two-month period at the jail, over 290 of which were made to the alleged victim in the domestic violence case…
