2 indicted on separate drug trafficking charges after police seized fentanyl, other drugs

SALT LAKE CITY — A man from Colorado and a man from Mexico have been indicted on federal charges in separate cases of trafficking drugs in Utah.

Ruben Flores Enriquez, 28, of Mexico, was living in West Valley City when the FBI Wasatch Metro drug task force arrested him while investigating a drug trafficking organization, according to court documents.

On Feb. 23, agents searched his residence and located 1,466 grams of blue counterfeit pills and 9,811 grams of a powder-like substance, both of which tested positive for fentanyl. The agents also located 1,373 grams of methamphetamine and 679 grams of heroin, court documents state…
