Sandy rehab nurse arrested after allegedly taking patients’ medications

SANDY CITY, Utah (ABC4) — A Sandy rehab nurse has been arrested after allegedly taking medications prescribed for Sandy Regional Rehab Center patients.

Isaac Jesse Watters, 45, was arrested for a pattern of unlawful activity (second-degree felony), theft of value greater than $500 (class B misdemeanor), and two counts of intentional abuse or neglect of a vulnerable adult (class A misdemeanor).

On March 12, police were dispatched to a report of drugs found in a garage. The caller reported finding “empty medication blister packs and drug logs for Sandy Regional Rehab Center” in a garbage bag inside a cabinet, according to court documents…
