Two are dead following a head-on vehicle collision Saturday near Strawberry Reservoir.
At about 2:30 p.m. on March 14, a box truck was traveling eastbound on S.R. 40 near milepost 51, and a Chevy Silverado pickup was traveling westbound. The box truck left its lane of travel to the right and drove a short distance on the dirt shoulder. It reentered the roadway, overcorrected and crossed the centerline in front of the Silverado.
