SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, March 18, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) β The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced a policy change that will allow a woman to serve as Sunday School presidents, assisted by female counselors and a secretary from their wards.
If a male member of the congregation is called as Sunday School president, he must hold the Melchizedek Priesthood, and his counselors must be male members of the ward.
