SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — A Utah man is now facing weeks of brain surgery recovery after an incident while he was visiting Mexico.
On Friday, March 13, Nathan Luke, from Salt Lake City, was visiting Playa del Carmen when his brother, Justin, got a phone call from Nathan’s friend saying, “Nathan is in a very bad way.” He immediately booked a flight to rescue his brother.
Upon arrival, Justin had to piece together what had happened to Nathan and knew things were worse than he had imagined.
The incident
Around 3:30 a.m. on March 12, Nathan was involved in an incident that left him bleeding from his head on the sidewalk in front of the place where he was staying. People in the area claimed he fell, but the surgeon they met with said, “That’s not a fall.”…
