SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, March 20, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) β Mayor Erin Mendenhall announced Thursday that Salt Lake City has entered a Stage 2 drought advisory as officials respond to unusually low snowpack and reduced spring runoff projections.
It is the first time since October 2022 that the city has issued a Stage 2 response.
