BIG COTTONWOOD CANYON, Utah (KUTV) — A hiker was hospitalized after he fell at least 20 feet down Donut Falls in Big Cottonwood Canyon.
Salt Lake County Search and Rescue crews were called to assist Unified Fire Authority at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Sunday.
A medical helicopter was also dispatched to assist, due to the “likelihood of significant injuries,” but was unable to operate because of poor weather conditions, SAR said in a press release.
