Man convicted in West Jordan triple homicide sentenced to 25 years to life

WEST JORDAN, Utah (KUTV) — A man who was a teenager at the time of a July 2022 triple homicide at a West Jordan party was sentenced to at least 25 years in the Utah State Prison, with the possibility of life, after being convicted of aggravated murder.

Steven Donovan Carmona, now 20, was ordered by the court to “serve his state sentence concurrently with his federal incarceration,” according to court documents.

“Based on the defendant’s conviction of aggravated murder, a first-degree felony, the defendant is sentenced to an indeterminate term of not less than 25 years and which may be life in the Utah State Prison,” court documents read.
