Motorcyclist airlifted after eye irritation leads to crash in Davis County

KAYSVILLE, Utah (ABC4) — A motorcyclist was airlifted in critical condition after crashing on the West Davis Corridor on Sunday evening.

According to Sergeant Luis Silva with the Utah Highway Patrol (UHP), a 34-year-old man was traveling southbound at Mile Post 6 near Pioneer Park in Davis County.

The motorcyclist later explained to police that something got in his eye, which caused him to drive off the roadway and crash at approximately 5:27 p.m.

He was reportedly not wearing a helmet and was transported to the hospital by helicopter in critical condition…
