Lockdown lifts at West Point Junior High after deputies investigate threat

WEST POINT, Utah (KUTV) — A junior high school in Davis County was temporarily placed under lockdown after the school received a threat.

Megan Maybee, a school district spokesperson, said Davis County Dispatch received a 911 call just after 1 p.m. “showing close proximity” to West Point Junior High before it was “promptly disconnected.”

Three minutes later, the school district received a second call “referencing explosives and threatened violence.”…
