SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — A motorcyclist was hospitalized in critical condition after colliding with a semi-truck on State Route 201.
The Utah Department of Transportation first reported the crash after 10 a.m on Friday.
Sgt. Andrew Battenfield with Utah Highway Patrol said the motorcyclist had passed a car through the emergency lane on the right. The rider then tried to pass the semi-truck but collided with the truck’s trailer.
